Kappy and Jennifer bring a combined 44 years of real estate experience to their team.  This advantage becomes very clear when negotiating offers and working through contracts.  Our past clients will attest to the attention to detail and knowledge we share while working on their behalf to ensure a smooth and complete transaction.  We come from different backgrounds and have our own individual style which we believe compliments our diversity and strengthens our approach to business.

Kappy, a Midwestern transplant and University of Dayton graduate,  has lived in Truckee area 30 years.  “I have deep roots in the area and have consistently been an involved member of the community.  I have been the Chairperson of the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce and am currently a member of the Workforce Housing Advisory Group for the Town of Truckee.”  Prior to moving to Truckee, Kappy was employed in the construction industry in the Bay Area, duties included marketing, drafting and project management.

Jennifer, a California native, moved to Truckee 10 years ago from the Los Gatos Mountains of the Bay Area.  “A homemaker and mother of two children, I was very active in the schools as well as the community.  I have been a licensed Realtor since 1986 and understand the demands of balancing work with family life.  Additionally I have experience in property management.”

Professionalism is important to us.  We continue to strive to improve our business skills and stay ahead of the curve.  We are both ePro certified, Jennifer is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Kappy is a member of Homescopes, a networking group of agents from the Bay Area who specialize in utilizing the internet for marketing purposes.  Both Kappy and Jennifer are full-time agents.  Our team aspect allows for 24/7 coverage for all of our clients.

Giving something back is important to us. Our community has supported our business through the years and we believe that it is our duty to extend a hand in return.  We volunteer out time through the Hospice Thrift Shop, Meals on Wheels, Assumption Catholic Church, Habitat for Humanity,  local Amerian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Truckee River Day and Clean Truckee Streets.  We love this area and for us it is easy to participate in helping to care for it.
